Much like the butterfly, there’s a journey towards discovering your yourself.
I started WILLFUL THINKING as a reminder to myself and to others that God has a plan for our life. In Psalms, He tells us that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. (37:23) .Willful Thinking are for those who are actively and intentionally following God’s commandment to seek His kingdom. And we know by doing that we align ourselves with His Will. My blogs will be filled with how I believe God has called us to walk with Him as interpreted by scripture and through the lives of those who surrendered and subdued their own desires for the will of God. I remember years ago when I first had the desire to deepen my relationship with God. I went to my father and asked him, “How do I meditate”? He told me to search for a verse or scripture and to focus on that as a way of communicating with God. So I turned around and headed towards the family den, laid down and began to meditate on God’s Word. Peace, be still, the words Jesus spoke to the sea is what I chose to meditate on. I wanted to be fully involved and invested in this moment so those words seemed to fit perfectly for the occasion. Moments later, I was back up and realized I’d just entered into a new dimension with God. God had given me a vision. This was about ten years ago. Though, I’ve always known God and believed in the truth of His Word, it wasn’t until that day that I became intimately aware of Him and that He had a purpose for me.
This blog will reference the journeys of both the men and women of the bible to bridge the gap between the early followers of Christ to today’s followers of Christ in the hopes that we may glean powerful insight into how God uses His people as catalysts for change.
